Cunning innocence
Cunning innocence
While father was watching a pretty singer, his 5 years old child asked him:
Child: dad why are you staring at this woman like that?
Dad: she is pretty baby
Child: so why not staring at mum that way?
Dad: mum ….well she is so pretty deep inside, that one is only from outside
Child: so mum is not pretty?
Dad: no honey, she used to be but…
Child: but what?
Dad: she got busy and being a mother is not an easy task
Child: why?
Dad: because she has to take care of the house, food, you and me, so she neglected herself a little.
Child: so dad, if you get married to that singer you‘ll help her at household tasks.
Dad: if that woman I’ll do a lot of things.
Child: why?
Dad: because she is …. You know.
Here comes the mother hold her child saying “baby leave daddy watch TV”
Child: why?
Mum: because he has been working all day
Child: why?
Mum: because he has responsibilities honey
Child: like what?
Mum: well… bills, buying things, a car, a house…etc
Child: why?
Mum: to live in good standards
Child: why?
Mum: to be happy
Child: so are you together happy?
Mum and dad: what?
Mum: yes we used to be
Dad: the good old days
Child: when?
Dad: six years ago at our honeymoon
Child: six years are old days?
Dad: not that old baby
Mum: but they are old, because they do not exist any more
Child: why?
Dad: just life took me away
Mum: yea too much away
Dad: but you didn’t try to get me back
Mum: you just neglected me
Dad: I always love you
Mum: I almost forgot these 3 words
Their child was watching them then when his father approached towards his mother holding her hand and whispering to her some words, the child slipped out leaving them that space that they finally found.

Plant memories
Plant memories
At Autumn leaves fall and be swept away. One tree standing there since long time ago. It was remembering its first spring when was green and blooming. At that time a little boy used to stare at it wondering “what is the feeling of that tree?”.
Somehow he could communicate with the tree, and used to speak with it about his joys and sorrows. After years the tree was waiting for the little boy to come but he never showed up. After a while a man passed by and stared at it wondering “how after all these years that tree is still the same witnessing my childhood, youth and maturity”.
The tree couldn’t remember him; may it is suffering of Alzheimer or simply it is dying. He sits under it like usual asking “what if I was a tree”. At the same time the tree wondered “what if it was a human”. Is it going to be good or is it that way better?” . This question remained unanswered. He stood up and walked his way.
Humanity call
Humanity call
All what he heard was a scream. A girl screaming for help. He ran to that voice to find a girl alone in middle of a lot of men. She was begging them to let her go. But they didn’t listen to her or even heard her voice that was talking to their lost humane side.
He stood in front of her protecting her with his body and strength. Despite he was alone, they were afraid; not because he is an officer or that he has a gun but because he is a real man amid of some heartless beasts.
Yet this didn’t prevent them to attack him and were almost about to kill him when she throws herself over him saying “you tear me from him, my life before his”. Being hopeless and hearing the police siren, they run away.
With the dawn light, the officer was severely injured opened his eyes to find the girl whom was defending is the same one who hit his father in a car accident last year.

Imprisoned kiss
Imprisoned kiss
They met without any previous appointment; Two cars adjacent to one another. They were sitting in the back seats: A woman reading a file and a girl in the other car playing with her doll. Their eyes met once. It was a rainy day. Road is slippy and cars like turtles.
The woman smiled to the little girl, moving her nose and making funny faces; a monster, a dead body its tongue out and crazy woman. The little girl was amazed and finally she laughed at her comic faces. She tried to send her a kiss but cars separated with few meters.
For seconds the woman thought of herself ten years ago, when she was engaged and broke up then engaged then broke up. Now is the first time to face herself with the truth. She was afraid of failing as a mother. She pretended it is self asserting by hard work. But only her self confidence was the only reason.
She kissed her palm and wanted to throw it for the baby girl. All of sudden the cars were running fast. She couldn’t see the little girl whom she wished to her daughter. After years of hard working, travelling and being a famous business woman, she discovered she lost her opportunity to be a mother; All because her lack of self confidence.
In middle of all this, a voice of little kid awoke her up. It was her, the same girl laughing to see her again. She opened her hand and said “a kiss for you imprisoned in my hand all the way long baby”. Then cars parted each in a way.

Love as I see
Love as I see
He came back as usual. Smiled, hugged and kissed him, but I found a piece of ice in my arms. He got his launch as if forcing bites through his throat. I looked at someone I don’t know him at all; only a body of someone like my husband. But no way he is not mine.
After a while, he embraced me in his arms, but I couldn’t feel his heart beating or his warmth. I only felt heavy weight suffocates me. Left seeking some fresh air. I heard him sobbing; I touched his cheek and wiped away that peal tear. I hugged him tightly and felt he is back again to me.
He handed me a paper and read it. He can’t be a father. Smiled to him and said “you can be my father, lover, best friend and son too. Hugged me and I rested on his chest and felt so near to that heart that love me that much. Paper fell from my hand and closed my eyes feeling so loved and safe.
Mirror painting
Mirror painting
Only few steps from the gallery door, she saw a painting, a wonderful one: a woman sitting her knees covering her chest and her arms around her knees. On her shoulders an Embroidered Scarf. She couldn’t go away from that painting. She went into another world imagining how a painter could paint such a woman and revealing all that sadness although her eyes are not seen. It is only her side was apparent. Yet this girl stared and gazed at the painting all the time.
The painted woman wore nothing but an embroidered scarf. “She can’t be a model” the whispered to herself. She is so real, too sad, and extremely lonely; abandoned and weeping without tears. “You seem a narcissist”, a man said. “What?”She asked. “You are staring in this mirror for two hours now” he replied. “A mirror” she is shocked, and tried to say an explanation but failed. She raised the embroidered scarf over shoulders and logged in the gallery but couldn’t see anything except that painting in the mirror.
